Its not often that you can score less tries than your opposition and still win a game of rugby, but this was the case for the Wallabies overnight as they came away with a five point win over Wales.
In Michael Cheika’s first test match as coach, it was one of his Waratahs stars Bernard Foley who kicked Australia to victory with 18 points coming from his trusty boot.
Earlier in the night Israel Folau got the visitors going with two superb tries of his own as he put his team into the lead.
Another try from the rampaging Tevita Kuridrani helped the Wallabies maintain their lead heading into the break.
But the momentum would swing back in favour of the home side shortly after the break as they scored another try.
This is when Foley stepped in and took control for the Wallabies as he nailed every chance he was given.
In a positive sign for Cheika, his side did not give the Welsh side any chances for penalty goals.
When the final siren blew the Wallabies were in front by five points which means that they continue their dominance over Wales both at home and abroad.
