With both South Australian teams heading into round four in winning form, it will be interesting to see the squad selections and the final teams this week.
Still unbeaten after three rounds, the Crows have added a couple of talented youngsters to their squad and they are on the cusp of breaking into the team.
Mitch Grigg – Some strong form has put Grigg on the edge of yet again breaking back into the team.
Jarryd Lyons – Having had a career similar to that of a yo-yo, Jarryd Lyons is once again on the verge of breaking back into the Crows team thanks to some good SANFL form
Matt Crouch – A bundle of potential, Matt Crouch will be looking to take advantage of his brother’s injury and make his way into becoming a regular in the team.
Jake Lever – A best on ground performance will mean that this young man is on the radar of selectors going forward.
Port Adelaide Power
Coming off their first win of the season, Port Adlaide have made a couple of changes to their team to take on the Hawks.
Matthew Lobbe – Arguably one of the biggest ins for the round, Power ruckman Matthew Lobbe is set to make a comeback that Port’s coaches and fans have been praying to come soon.
Kane Cornes – Having been rested for his team’s win over the Kangaroos, Kane Cornes will make his return to the side against the Hawks this week.
Brendon Ah Chee – After making his debut as the sub last week, Brendon Ah Chee was one of the players to make way for the returning Lobbe and Cornes, but the fact that he has been named as the first emergency means that he could very well end up playing on the weekend.
Paul Stewart – A coach’s dream, Paul Stewart has been putting in the hard yards in the SANFL and looks close to breaking back into the AFL side.
