This week’s Fiasco Sports SA Footballer of the Week is Adelaide captain, Taylor Walker.
Taylor Walker’s seven-goal haul led the Crows to an 87-point victory over the Brisbane Lions on Saturday.
After a slow team start, Walker sparked the Crows in the second term, kicking three goals as Adelaide went on to boot eight goals to none in a quarter.
While his goal kicking was the highlight, he also took contested marks, shrugged off tackles and also beat his opponents running back towards the forward 50.
Adelaide’s win firmed up its position in the top eight on the AFL ladder, putting the team a game and a half ahead of Geelong.
Honourable mentions for this week’s SA Footballer of the Week must go to Port Adelaide’s two Grays – Robbie and Sam.
Robbie Gray and Sam Gray both had pivotal performances in Port Adelaide’s upset win over Hawthorn.
They both had 34 disposals and had 13 inside 50s between them.
Half of Robbie’s possessions were contested and he also had seven clearances, while Sam also kicked a goal.
