ANZAC Day weekend is a special time to play football, and the NRL players produced some special football to match the historic occasion.
Dragons- 14 def. by Roosters- 34
The Roosters kicked off the ANZAC Day round with a 20-point win over the Dragons thanks to a classy performance across the ground from all of their players.
Storm- 10 def. by Warriors- 16
In the biggest upset of the round, the Warriors chalked up a major win, beating the Storm by six points thanks to a standout performance from Shaun Johnson.
Broncos- 26 def. by Rabbitohs- 28
In one of the tightest games of the round, the Rabbitohs snuck away with the points after a two-point win over the Broncos thanks to a 79th minute penalty goal from Adam Reynolds.
Sharks- 24 def. Panthers- 20
Poor form away from home came back to bite the Panthers once again on the weekend as they gave up the lead late in the contest to hand the Sharks the win.
Cowboys- 42 def. Eels- 14
The Cowboys displayed their full array of attacking weapons, as Curtis Rona and Kane Linnett both scored doubles in their 28-point win over the Eels.
Bulldogs- 16 def. Knights-12
In another tight game, the Bulldogs managed to come away as four-point winners to continue their impressive run of form this season.
Sea Eagles- 54 def. Raiders- 18
The Sea Eagles sent out an ominous warning to the rest of the competition as they systematically picked apart the Raiders to finish with a 36-point win.
Tigers- 6 def. by Titans- 22
In a match up of two of the surprise packets of the 2014 season, the Titans came out on top with a 16-point win.
