Floyd Mayweather (44-0, 26KOs) is looking to defend his pound for pound mantle, the fight will be his third foray into the junior middleweight division to unify the WBC, WBA and RING Magazine belts.
The bout marks the second of his six fight agreement with Showtime and will be televised live from the MGM Grand on Showtime pay per view.
Mayweather will earn a record breaking base purse in excess of $40 million, topping his previous record of $32 million against Miguel Cotto in 2012, confirming his status as Forbes’ highest paid athlete.
