ANB SA 2014 Male Muscle Warfare

The final day at the Australian Muscle and Model Extravaganza at the Adelaide Sports and Fitness Expo 2014 was an all male affair, The Male Muscle Warfare.

All competitors were in prime condition as prizes up for grabs not only included being adjudged best bodies, but also qualification to the 2014 UFE World Championship in Canada.

 

Channel 10 sports presenter Mark Aiston hosted the event.

 

“It is one of the most exciting and exhilarating hostings and events I’ve been at because everyone’s so motivated, everyone’s so fit, everyone looks really good and I’m really pleased that I’m doing it,” said Aiston.

 

Overall ANB Male Muscle Warfare winner Billy Cairns, qualified for the 2014 UFE World Championship in Canada.

 

“As cliché as it sounds, it literally means everything to me and I put my heart and soul into what I do,” said Cairns.

 

“I honestly love it with my heart not just my mind.”

Other ANB Male Muscle Warfare winners that will represent Team ANB Australia at the UFE World Championship in Canada on 14 November 2014 are Rob Yates, Gabe Hihria and Jackson Biggins.

 

Biggins won the Male Fitness under 35’s category and enjoyed the reception of the day.

 

“It’s pretty fun, I went out there and the crowd was great, the feedback activity was awesome,” said Biggins.

 

“The best thing when you compete is going out there and then instantly the crowd just roars up and you just get excited, you forget you’re on stage competing.”

Competitor Andrew Stylianou, placed fourth in the male fitness under 35’s category, Stylianou enjoyed the day and the atmosphere of the competitors backstage.

 

“It’s really great to cap off all the hard training, it’s a great experience to be out in front of a crowd,” said Stylianou.

 

“It’s great to be around a lot of good guys who are like-minded and have the same interests, so it’s great to be here.”

 

Stylianou dressed as a basketball player in the theme-wear round.

 

The theme-wear round is a chance for competitors to have fun and add some of their own personality to the event.

 

Aaron Vanzaati dressed as a boxer, while Yates dressed as a Port Adelaide Power AFL footballer.

 

ANB South Australia promoter David Salamon put on an amazing event over the two days of the Australian Muscle and Model Extravaganza 2014 at the inaugural Adelaide Sports and Fitness Expo.

The Female Spectacular and the Male Muscle Warfare were the feature events of the weekend and impressed competitors and fans alike.
